At The Gentle Vet, getting to know you and your pet is part of the care we provide. Dr. Bowen came to veterinary medicine after first working in animal welfare policy, where she realized she wanted a more hands-on way to help animals and the people who care for them. Today, she has a special interest in senior pets, chronic conditions, and pain management, with a focus on finding practical ways to help pets feel better and enjoy more good days. That same compassion guides her work beyond the clinic through organizations such as Project Street Vet.
